Noller Ford Lawrence is looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Service Dispatcher to join our growing Fixed Operations team. We have an incredible technician team, including multiple Ford Senior Master Certified Technicians, experienced long-term techs, and a service department with tremendous potential. Now we're looking for the right person to help us maximize that talent. This isn't just about handing out repair orders. We need someone who understands workflow, technician skill levels, efficiency, productivity, urgency, and teamwork—someone who can see the entire shop and keep work moving. Compensation $5,000–$8,000+ per month — Base + Commission Compensation is dependent on experience and performance. We believe people who help us grow should have the opportunity to grow their income, too. What You'll Do As our Service Dispatcher, you'll be at the center of the service operation. You'll work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, and Management to ensure work is assigned appropriately and completed as efficiently as possible. Responsibilities include: Dispatching repair orders to technicians based on skill level, certification, workload, and availability Monitoring shop workflow throughout the day Balancing work between technicians Helping maximize technician productivity and efficiency Tracking repair orders and identifying delays or bottlenecks Communicating with Service Advisors regarding repair status and completion times Coordinating with Parts when parts availability impacts workflow Prioritizing waiters, appointments, comebacks, internal work, and other time-sensitive repairs Helping ensure promised completion times are met Monitoring work in progress and aging repair orders Keeping management informed of workflow concerns Helping maintain accountability throughout the shop Supporting a positive, productive environment between advisors and technicians Helping the department achieve its productivity, efficiency, gross profit, and customer satisfaction goals What We're Looking For The right person is someone who can think ahead instead of simply reacting. We're looking for someone who: Has automotive dealership or service department experience Understands automotive repair processes and shop workflow Has strong organizational and time-management skills Can confidently communicate with technicians, advisors, and management Can prioritize multiple jobs and changing demands throughout the day Understands technician skill levels and how to assign work appropriately Is comfortable working with computers and dealership management systems Pays attention to details without losing sight of the bigger picture Can make decisions and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment Is dependable, accountable, and professional Works well with a team Wants to learn, improve, and grow Previous dispatching experience is strongly preferred, but we aren't afraid to train and develop the right person. Requirements Candidates must: Possess a valid driver's license Meet applicable MVR requirements Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check Be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation Physical Requirements This is an active dealership position.
