As a Route Delivery Driver, you're the face of our company, ensuring smooth deliveries and happy customers. Here's what makes a successful journey:
1. Master Your Route:
- Navigation: Follow your optimized daily route using our tools to make efficient deliveries and pickups.
- Be Flexible: Routes can change! Be ready to adapt to new customers, addresses, and situations. It's all part of the adventure!
2. Shine with Excellent Customer Service:
- Look Sharp: Always maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in your company shirt.
- Positive Vibes: Be courteous, friendly, and respectful to everyone you meet. Remember, you're a "rolling billboard" for our company!
- Solve Problems: Handle small customer concerns professionally. For bigger issues, reach out to management – we're here to help!
- Stay Connected: Keep us in the loop about any route or customer changes daily.
- Detailed Notes: Log all delivery notes in the computer so everyone's on the same page.
- No Skipped Stops: Never miss a stop without talking to the office and the customer first.
- Keep it Private: Always protect customer confidentiality and their personal information.
3. Handle Garments with Care:
- Accuracy is Key: Before you leave the plant, double-check that all orders are complete and match the manifest.
- Gentle Touch: Treat all garments and customer property with extreme care to prevent any damage.
Track Everything: Scan all orders accurately when loading and upon delivery
Days & times: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 7:30 - end of route. Typically between 3:00 - 5:00 PM depending on the day and area.Â
Must be comfortable with highway driving and all local bridges, including the Skyway.Â
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
- Be a minimum of 21 years of age and possess at least three years of experience behind the wheel.
- Hold a current, valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Demonstrate proficiency in navigating the Tampa Bay region or the capacity to follow precise directions.
- Possess the physical ability to lift 30-pound bags into a delivery van, as well as the agility to bend and twist at the knees and waist.
- Display strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to manage time and work tasks independently.
- Maintain a high level of trustworthiness, reliability, and dependability.
- Confirm availability for consistent, full-time employment throughout the entire year.
