Representative Dist Receiving NIGHTS

SUMMARY

The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. A receiving clerk works closely with supervision during incoming deliveries. Primary function is communicating with outside Carriers and verifying documentation during the receiving process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct outside drivers to the proper receiving door 
• Send electronic payment information and verifying receipt of payment
• Compare driver paperwork and inbound purchase orders
• Enter purchase order data into the system / print receiving tags for use by receivers
• Process any safety and quality specifications as applicable
• Enter ISQL information for record
• Create outside driver 'exit pass'
• Communicate with security at the Gatehouse as needed
• Be able to communicate over warehouse PA system
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years of age 
• Flexible Schedule including weekends

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Ability to read, and write
• Some college preferred or high school diploma
• 6-12 months experience in similar position
• Must be able to work in a fast pace/ high energy position
