We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Assistant (CMA, RMA, LPN) to join our Allergy and Asthma team to administer allergy shots (Allergen Immunotherapy or AIT). In this role, you will play a vital part in administering allergy injections with the utmost safety and effectiveness.Â
You will be responsible for adhering to established processes and protocols and guaranteeing the consistent delivery of high-quality care. This team member must demonstrate excellent communication skills with other team members, physicians, and patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine allergy injections safely and effectively.
- Accurately document relevant information in electronic medical record.
- Responsible for the daily upkeep of AIT fridges, as well as conducting audits and managing equipment logs.
- Handles private patient health information within the guidelines of HIPAA and company privacy practices.
- Provide patient education materials and communicate physician advice and instruction.
- Adhere to all consent policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED.
- Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
- Willingness to travel between all clinic locations.
- Valid Driver’s License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ year experience working in specialty care
