Housekeeping Supervisor – JLL

2nd Shift

What this job involves:

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at JLL, you will play a critical role in maintaining world-class manufacturing facilities by leading and overseeing housekeeping operations. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, you'll ensure our client's facilities remain clean, safe, and operational while managing a dedicated team of housekeeping staff. This position offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your leadership directly impacts facility safety, compliance, and overall production efficiency.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations, including completion of end-of-shift reports and daily staffing coordination
  • Conduct routine inspections of all service areas to ensure performance measures and safety standards are maintained
  • Develop and implement procedures and performance measures to ensure work simplification and accuracy
  • Manage inventory of consumables and materials, maintaining appropriate stock levels to ensure smooth operations
  • Administer GMS/BPD Board metrics and drive KPIs with your team to ensure adherence to established processes
  • Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to housekeeping team members
  • Collaborate with Client Operations team and Housekeeping Manager on administrative functions, security issues, and facility services

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Facility or Housekeeping Administration
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel Spreadsheets and administrative reporting
  • Superior customer service skills and customer-focused orientation
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations and manage work under time constraints
  • Physical ability to lift and move items up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for 10-12 hours, and work in manufacturing environments (noisy, unlit, unheated/not air-conditioned areas)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work without direct supervision
  • Availability to work overtime, weekends, and pre/post scheduled hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial facility environments
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation policies in manufacturing settings
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative work style with ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
  • Experience with performance management and team development
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and KPI tracking

Salary/Comp: $60,000 - $67,000
