How you’ll contribute

A Oncology Nurse Navigator who excels in this role:

Serve as a primary point of contact for oncology patients and their families.
Guide patients through the cancer care continuum from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, and follow-up care.
Assess patient, family, and caregiver needs, identifying barriers to care and developing plans to address them.
Coordinate appointments, diagnostic testing, treatments, and referrals to ensure timely access to services.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, symptom management, medications, and available resources.
Connect patients with community resources, support groups, financial assistance programs, and survivorship services.
Support quality improvement initiatives, accreditation requirements, and oncology program goals.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsement and possess an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required
Experience: Minimum of 3 year of oncology experience, care coordination, case management, navigation, or patient education preferred.
