Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Senior Manager of Consumer Insights & Strategy will work cross-functionally to build brand connections with the people who buy and use our products.  Come join the Hefty Brand Home and Tableware.  The role will provide consumer insight leadership and coordination of all consumer research projects in collaboration with the Business Units SVPs and their teams.   • Provide strategic partnership to business teams in identifying and articulating key business issues, learning goals and knowledge gaps for assigned brands.
  • Identify appropriate research objectives and direct resources in executing projects.
  • Partner with the Business Units on Strategic Business Planning
  • Plan, design, and execute consumer insights projects that delivers value to RCP.
  • Lead the effort of turning research results and data into key insights which drive growth for the business.
  • Provide clear, strategic direction to external research partners that results in stellar research outputs and greater research ROI.
  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Analytics to identify ways of leveraging analytics, improve reporting quality and maximize our synergies with our external research and agency partners.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field
  • 8+ years in CPG market research
  • Extensive experience with business-enabling broad range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies & techniques (including predictive analytics, conjoint, MaxDiff, TURF, Habits and Practices, segmentation, claims testing, packaging testing, brand and communications testing, product testing, brand health and equity tracking, concept testing).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Proficiency in gathering, compiling and preparing data from Nielsen and/or IRI databases.
  • Analytical; problem- solving skills.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Works independently but also enjoys working with a team

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus

Bonus Eligibility

Role is eligible for 18% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
