What You'll Do
As a Production Warehouse Associate, you'll play a vital role in both warehouse operations and conveyor belt fabrication. This position offers a dynamic mix of production, shipping and receiving, installation, and customer support responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build, repair, and fabricate conveyor belts and related components
- Install and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting in-house and at customer locations
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and supplies
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain shipment records and inventory data
- Coordinate with truck carriers and delivery services
- Assist with conveyor system repairs and installations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Represent Belt Power professionally when interacting with customers and teammates
Requirements
What We're Looking For
We're seeking motivated individuals who are dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and verify measurements accurately using a tape measure
- Basic computer and math skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift experience
- Maintenance or conveyor belt technician experience
- Experience working in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments
Physical Requirements
- This role is active and hands-on. Team members should be comfortable:
- Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
- Working in warehouse, shop, and customer-site environments
- Standing, bending, kneeling, and moving throughout the day
- Working at heights and in confined spaces when required
