Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

 


Benefits Administrator 1

Join our Benefits team and play a key role in supporting the health, wellbeing, and benefits experience of our coworkers. In this position, you'll help ensure our benefit programs are administered effectively, coworkers receive the support they need, and our organization remains compliant with changing regulations. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on coworker wellbeing while developing expertise in benefits administration, communication, education, and problem resolution.

What You'll Do

As a Benefits Administrator 1, you will serve as a trusted resource for coworkers, leaders, and benefit partners by:

  • Supporting the administration and ongoing management of employee benefit programs.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for assigned benefit plans and assisting with enrollment activities and system updates.
  • Educating coworkers and leaders about available benefits through orientations, presentations, and educational materials.
  • Partnering with vendors, insurance carriers, and brokers to help resolve complex benefit-related questions and issues.
  • Assisting with the development and review of benefits communications and policies.
  • Supporting compliance activities, reporting requirements, and analysis of benefit program utilization and performance.
  • Contributing ideas and process improvements that enhance coworker experiences and program effectiveness.

  • Trustworthy professionals who can handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in benefits administration, insurance, HR, or a related field.
  • Experience working with benefit plans and enrollment processes.
  • Knowledge of benefit programs, HR systems, reporting tools, and applicable regulations is preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
