Ameresco has a new opportunity for an Engineering Intern to join our Federal Engineering team at our Knoxville, TN office to assist with project tasks such as data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engineers to provide project support for development, design, and construction activities.

  • Aggregate and organize data and correspondence (e.g. review comments, specifications, meeting minutes, data entry).

  • Perform front-end data processing (e.g. distilling information in utility bills, operational logs, equipment inventories).

  • Analyze utility bill data and sub-meter data for buildings or for building systems.

  • Analyze building automation system operation and trending data.

  • Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project phases.

  • Assist with the assessment of project requirements to evaluate opportunities for energy efficiency.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current student pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline.

  • Ability to review confidential US security information.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Interest in Energy Efficiency and/or Renewable Technology.

  • Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information.

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel.

  • Excellent verbal, written, computer communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships.
