RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for coordination and distribution of paperwork in the nurse's station, completion of admission/discharge/transfer paperwork, answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, and insurance authorizations and review.

 

HOURS:

Full-time, 72 hours a pay-period, Will work one 12-hour day shift as Unit Coordinator and two 12-hour shift as CNA/ED Registration scheduler a week, 6:15am-6:45 pm. Includes weekend and holiday rotation.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be organized and able to multitask. Must have understanding of the nursing procedures and requirements. Must have good computer skills and communication skills. Preferred CNA or unit coordinator experience.

 

PRIMARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions. Must be able to frequently lift over 50 pounds.
