Job DetailsJob Location: Star Island Management - Kissimmee, FL 34746Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: AnyJob Category: Hospitality - HotelSUMMARY An AC Technician installs, maintains, and repairs air conditioning systems, performing tasks such as diagnosing faults, cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, repairing components, and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Will be responsible for servicing air conditioner units, diagnosing and fixing problems under pressure Able to remove old HVAC equipment so new systems can be installed Has mechanical experience for operation and repair of weld lines and has the knowledge and ability to perform a variety of general maintenance repairs Repair or replace faulty components (compressors, capacitors, thermostats, fans, sensors) Follow safety rules, report hazards and comply with all property and regulatory standards Perform any and all duties which may be assigned Repair domestic appliances and water heater Qualifications EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED; HVAC technical certification, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SKILLS: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. This job requires continuous bending, lifting, climbing, walking, and standing for long periods of time. The job requires to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and in few occasions up to 100 pounds.
