Medical Assistant

JOB LOCATION - Intermountain Medical Group (Kingston - 610 Wyoming Ave)

Position Purpose

• Provides primary nursing support to the physician and patient to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient’s condition.
• Provides support to the business operations through understanding of business functions.

Position Qualifications

Education:

• Medical Assistant Certification required

Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes

• Requires knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice; organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care; medical equipment and instruments used to provide patient care; and common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Requires skill to identify problems and recommend solutions; prepare and maintain accurate records; develop and maintain quality assurance; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, office staff and the public.
