Retail Associate

Job Description 

Tierra Farm is a Certified Organic manufacturer and distributor of nuts and dried fruits, located 20 miles south of Albany, New York.  Our customers consist mainly of cooperatives and independently owned grocery stores that value working with an employee-owned, environmentally conscious company that manufactures its own products.

Currently Tierra Farm is looking for a full-time Retail Associate for our store located in Valatie, NY, who can work on weekends and holidays. This individual needs to meet the following criteria.

Essential Functions & Duties:

• Greet customers and assist them in a friendly, confident and knowledgeable manner,
• Be skilled in serving and selling to multiple customers,
• Process web-orders accurately (from picking, packing and shipping),
• Maintain exceptional store standards through stocking, cleaning, merchandising etc.

Required Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Hold minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
• Must be able to work on weekends and holidays and
• Ability to work mandatory overtime if necessary

Preferred Experience:

• 2 year+ of experience in a retail setting preferred

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Pay: Starting @ $25.00 per hour
