Job Summary
Works as part of a larger team under the direction of a Lead Installer to complete on-site furniture installations on projects of various sizes throughout the region.Ā

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ā
Technical and Product
Ā
- Able and willing to safely drive a car or box truck to sites throughout the region.
- Understand installation scope and work processes.
- Mechanically adept and able to safely use hand tools and power tools and equipment, including portable saw, chop saw, etc.
- Ability to read plans, blueprints, evaluations and product specifications.
- Ability to show consistently excellent furniture installation skill, resulting in projects with good workmanship and high quality that meet the dealershipās field standards of performance.Ā
- Ability to complete all technical installation operations, including wall strips, field measuring, in-line step down modifications, product repairs, simple field cuts and product modifications, etc.
- Ability to specify product and complete small inventories.
- Knowledge and understanding of all product application and use.
- Knowledge of electricity and electrical hookups to building power; ability to interface with electricians and cabling subcontractors.
- Comfortable driving a bobtail or cube truck and can do so safely.
- Understand furniture material handling and logistical processes.
- Can receive and document receipt of product in a thorough and accurate manner.

- Take ownership for projects, results, and details including follow through to project completion.
- Ability to react to varying project/field conditions and make decisions to resolve problems and changes to the scope of work (as needed).

AdministrativeĀ
Ā
- Ensure all paperwork is neat, clear, legible, and complete.
- Ability to communicate project status, problems, and punch-list (in writing) to dispatch, sales personnel, sales support, and to project management personnel.
- Analyze project for correct tool, supply, equipment, and vehicle requirements, including small parts and product pulls from warehouse.

Experience/Education Required
- Valid driverās license; must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check and Department of Transportation medical physical.Ā

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

protect tools used for work-related purposes from loss, damage or theft.Ā Tools lost, missing, worn, and/or broken must be replaced by the employee.Ā

Power and Specialty Tools Ā
Insidesource keeps inventory of power and specialty tools for employee use. Management actively reviews inventory for purchase of additional tools as necessary. Ā

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, twist and move repeatedly.
The anticipated compensation for this role is $21 - $29 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
