Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the performance of tasks associated with conducting preventative maintenance on equipment such as CNC machinery, etching machines, wash tanks, vacuum pumps, etc.
  • Operate and maintain the coolant-recycling system
  • Respond quickly to urgent repair requests to minimize equipment down-time
  • Communicate effectively between the end users and contractors 
  • Crosstrain in the function of raw material staging and assigning to jobs to be able to act as backup to the inventory control associate
  • Ability to manage and complete various projects as assigned


Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and handle minor repairs on machinery (manufacturers can include Haas, Mazak, Dot Peen, Haskel, etc.)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift certification a plus
  • Haas/Mazak certifications a plus

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong initiative, integrity, and the desire and ability to work both individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to use Microsoft products including Outlook and Excel


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires work in both an office and manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, twist, bend, access tight spaces and climb ladders 
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to wear PPE
