This is a highly visible technical leadership opportunity for an experienced identity security professional who wants to do more than maintain existing systems. You will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, partnering with technology leaders across the organization to design and implement next-generation identity and privileged access solutions.Ā
In this role, you will:Ā
Lead the design and advancement of UVA Health's enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) program.Ā
Implement controls focused on just-in-time access, privileged credential protection, session monitoring, and elevated access governance.Ā
Guide enterprise security initiatives involving Microsoft Entra, Entra PIM, Active Directory, Defender for Identity, BloodHound, and related identity technologies.Ā
Oversee implementation of a new Active Directory forest backup and disaster recovery solution to strengthen resilience and recovery capabilities.Ā
Support identity verification engineering initiatives and future identity modernization projects.Ā
Provide expert guidance on identity governance, access controls, attack path reduction, and security best practices.Ā
Lead or coordinate security-focused projects while influencing technical strategy and architectural decisions.Ā
Partner with stakeholders across UVA Health to deploy innovative security solutions that improve organizational risk posture.Ā

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
The pay range for this role is $102,851.00 - $205,703.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.Benefits
