About the Role:
Printers3 is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team in Hauppauge, NY! In this role, you'll play a critical part in our production workflow by delivering accurate estimates and managing order entry with precision. Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for print jobs based on client specifications and production requirements
- Manage order entry processes, ensuring all job details are correctly captured and communicated
- Collaborate with sales, production, and customer service teams to ensure smooth job flow
- Review and interpret client requests, artwork, and print specs to determine pricing
- Maintain and update estimating databases and pricing structures
- Communicate estimates and timelines to clients and internal stakeholders in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards
Requirements:
- Prior experience in print estimating and order entry is required
- Strong knowledge of print production processes, materials, and industry terminology
- Proficiency with estimating software and order management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and strong mathematical aptitude
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
