As a Vice President, Enterprise Applicationson the Technology team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Define and execute the multi-year corporate applications strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management approach, ensuring alignment with business objectives, growth initiatives, and enterprise technology strategy. 
  • Lead the modernization, optimization, and operational excellence of the corporate application portfolio, including product ownership, application support, service management, resilience, scalability, performance, and technical debt reduction. 
  • Partner with business, Finance, Architecture, Integration, PMO, and QA leaders to prioritize, govern, and deliver technology investments, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned to business value and risk management objectives. 
  • Oversee major application implementations, integrations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives, maintaining accountability for solution delivery, operational readiness, vendor performance, quality, and business outcomes. 
  • Build and lead a high-performing applications organization while managing budgets, software licensing, strategic vendor relationships, sourcing models, and third-party service providers to maximize value and total cost of ownership. 
  • Ensure security, privacy, compliance, audit readiness, and data integrity are embedded throughout the application lifecycle, while advising executive leadership on portfolio performance, risks, emerging technologies, AI-enabled opportunities, and strategic investments.

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience:
    • 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology or corporate applications, including seven or more years in senior leadership. 
    • Executive leadership experience managing a complex corporate application portfolio that includes Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, and internally developed, financially significant applications. 
    • Significant experience with ERP, CRM, HCM/HRIS, finance, reporting, integration, and cloud or SaaS platforms.  
    • Proven success modernizing enterprise applications and delivering large-scale implementations, upgrades, integrations, and migrations within PMO-led portfolio and project governance.  
    • Experience leading multidisciplinary application teams, operating within PMO-led governance, and establishing platform ownership, service-management practices, development standards, controls, and performance measures.  
    • Strong knowledge of application architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, data management, identity and access management, cybersecurity, and operational resilience, with demonstrated success partnering with enterprise architecture and application integration leaders.  
    • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, software vendors, systems integrators, contracts, licensing, consultants, and managed-service providers.  
  • Skills:.
    • Strong executive communication and the ability to align technology strategy with company objectives, influence stakeholders, and lead complex organizational change. 
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy 
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field. 
  • Schedule / in-office requirements:
    • Hybrid working model; Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday/Friday from home.
