Technical Learning Solutions Content Development Intern

Join the Technical Learning Solutions (TLS) Team at Vylor to build educational content that enhances the capability or our R&D organization and critical stakeholders across Vylor.  Our team turns knowledge into capability and innovation into impact.  TLS is looking for an intern who has and interest and wants to further develop their skills utilizing various software packages that helps create adult learning tools.  Software could include Adobe, Canvas, Articulate RISE, Synthesia, Biorender, etc.  We would like a student that has interest in agriculture, science, communication, and education. If you have artistic or writing communication skills, graphic design, photography and/or video creation skills, some or all of those would be a plus.  The intern will work closely with TLS team members to convert information into practical technical learning tools while utilizing adult education design and theory.  At Vylor, we know that people are our most valuable resource, and farmers know that, too. We seek to serve farmers, not just sell them products, and we do that by ensuring our workforce is empowered to answer technical questions from farmers and tell the stories of our product innovations.

•        Visual Design Skills: You will collaborate with Vylor design specialists to assist with graphic elements needed to support educational materials.

•        Professional Network: You will build your professional network through special intern events and your day-to-day work with people in diverse roles at Vylor.

Qualifications - What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree visual art or science (or science communications) with an interest in agriculture.  Candidates must be enrolled in classes the semester following their internship with Vylor.
  • Demonstrated skill in one or more area of visual art such as illustration, photography, video creation, and/or graphic design
  • Preferred experience in creating content using AI-assisted software and editing tools
  • Must be able to relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship
  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 10-12 weeks during the timeframe of internship (typically May to August, but a January to August timeframe would be considered for the right candidate)
  • Proficiency in Adobe products and common Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships
  • Strong bias for action and demonstrated owner’s mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with assigned working group (teams)
