Make a Difference

The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling all surgeries. Arranges pre-op testing for patients, obtains consent forms, and receives the necessary authorization prior to surgery. Walk each patient through instructions about what must be done prior to surgery, what time to arrive, and advise to arrange transportation home.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

  • Maintains excellent customer service with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with peers in team situations.
  • Strong computer and telephone skills.
  • Organized and very detail oriented.
  • Complete FMLA paperwork.
  • Work with physicians on preferences for surgeries and pre-op testing.
  • Assist with arranging meetings for physicians.
  • Arrange the physician’s schedule around their surgeries
