Rewind & Editing Technician

Label Aid is an innovative flexographic and digital printing company.  We produce labels, tags, and tape for many different end use applications.  Our core markets include: food, beverage, industrial, automotive, home and garden, horticulture, personal care and nutraceutical.  

We are seeking a Rewind & Editing Technician to join our production team.

Job Description - responsible for placing large printed and die cut rolls onto the editing equipment and winding them into smaller rolls for packaging and shipping. In this process the technician inspects the labels for print quality as they go through the machine.  If a defect is found the operator removes it and splices the roll back together.  Each roll is wound according to customer job ticket which includes required wind direction and quantity of labels per roll.

Responsibilities

Setting machine count according to instructions on job ticket

Ensuring accuracy in required wind position

Editing any defects out of the printed roll

Packaging rolls in boxes for shipments

Lifting up to 50lbs.

Occasional tow motor driving; training will be provided

Entering UPS shipments

Maintaining clean and organized work area & warehouse
