- Primary Responsibilities Â
- Responsible for maintaining processes in the test environment.
- Develops solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines.
- Communicate with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. May communicate with parties external to the organization
- Inspect components and assembled parts IAW drawings.
- Review and approve assembly instructions.
- Approve Procurement requisitions.
- Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages.
- Write Non-conformance’s and start investigation to root cause.
- Perform environmental testing and analysis of electrical boards and components for non-conformances.
- Complete FAI review from Supplier.
- Report Supplier “notice of changes” to Management.
- Basic Qualifications
- The Candidate must have BS degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 years of prior relevant experience. (In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED or equivalent education with 10 years of relevant experience will be considered.)
- Must be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.
- Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
- Must have experience with electrical test environment and test equipment in the Hypersonic program.
- Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers etc.
- Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
- Must have IPC 610/620 or J standard certification.
- Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
- Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
- Must be willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality source inspections.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Secret Clearance.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Government contract and SOW interpretation.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
- Previous auditing experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
