Job DetailsJob Location: Melville Office - Melville, NY 11747Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 Salary/yearQualificationsSubsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Technician   BL is expanding and seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering Technician. The Ideal candidate has 3+ years of relative SUE experience. As well as being prepared to work in the field, performing utility mark-out (locating, subsurface utility engineering) activities. This role may require travel to project sites wherever needed to support business and client needs.   Key Responsibilities: Electronic detection of subsurface utilities Record research Documenting work through the preparation of sketches, spreadsheets or written reports Ability to work without direct supervision is required   Qualifications: 3+ years relative SUE experience-or utility mark out is a plus Comprehensive understanding of utility systems and layout is a plus Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) operation is a plus Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) operation is a plus Experience with CADD drafting is a plus.
