Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Participates in published compensation surveys throughout the year.
  • Analyzes survey data, market trends, and competitive pay practices to ensure positions are market competitive and meet overall system objectives.
  • Provides benchmarking data and recommendations for market adjustments annually or as requested.
  • Proactively researches current and emerging trends in compensation and pay practices.
  • Provides salary quotes for new hires, transfers, promotions, etc. for providers.  In addition, serves as a knowledge resource for Management and Department Administrators on such matters.
  • Conducts analysis of provider compensation plans to ensure alignment with industry standards, organizational goals, and regulatory requirements
  • Generates compensation reports and prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains compensation policies.
  • Supports management's decision-making by analyzing compensation options and predicting future costs.
  • Coordinates employee changes and compensation administration within the payroll system.
  • Coordinate annual pay equity analysis.
  • Evaluates provider productivity as it relates to compensation.
  • Provides guidance and support to providers and management regarding compensation-related inquiries and issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

 

 

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, human resources or other related field required.

 

EXPERIENCE: Experience in healthcare, specific to provider productivity and compensation preferred, but not required.
