This position is based in our Dotson Road office location. Duties and Responsibilities Explains procedure to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculate doses, and administer doses, under direction of Physician Performs diagnostic exams including Cardiac PET CT studies on patients as prescribed by physicians, including treadmill supervision and starting IVs. Measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers and scintillation detectors Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials Maintains quality control of all equipment Maintains records of patient dosing, hot lab management, and regulatory requirements Maintains dosimetry monitoring program Responds to all audits in a timely manner Oversees claim reconciliation within PACs system and eMR Manage patient volume and scheduling Manage patient communication of appointment details, test details, and basic financial responsibility info provided by RCM team Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills Leadership experience preferred Must be confident with working independently in a very busy private cardiology practice setting.
