About the Role:

A Pearl Housekeeping Manager reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping and is responsible for creating leadersĀ andĀ fostering the Pearl cultureĀ within the housekeeping department for Pearl Hospitality.Ā The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role involves managing a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating schedules, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility. The Housekeeping Manager will develop and implement effective cleaning procedures, monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with other departments to support overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Ultimately, the Housekeeping Manager plays a critical role in enhancing the guest experience by maintaining impeccable standards and fostering a motivated, well-trained housekeeping team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Experience managing housekeeping operations in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment.
  • Certification in hospitality or housekeeping management.
  • Proficiency with property management systems and inventory software.
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and proper usage to control costs.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and front office teams to address guest requests, resolve issues, and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and addressing any deficiencies.
  • Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, staffing, and budget management for senior management review.
