What you will be doing…
- Prepareaircraftcomponentsfor a paint job by performing thorough sanding, masking, and priming procedures, ensuring smooth and flawless surfaces.
- Inspect componentstoidentifyimperfections, scratches, or dents that require repair or attention.
- Responsible for painting, base coat application, refinishing, corrosiontreatmentandcuring requirements.
- Maintainand enforce a clean workstation/Paint Booths, free from Foreign Object/Debris (FOD) including tooling used to perform painting duties.Â
- Perform all workin accordance withFederalAviation Administration (or equivalent) guidelines.
- Adhere to Cobalt’s Repair Station Quality Manual and internal processes.Â
- Ensure your work area is neat, clean, and in safe condition.
- Observe,implementand uphold company safety and OSHA guidelines and company Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies. (e.g.safety glasses, respirators, ear protection, etc.)Â
- Perform other duties as assigned.
 What we are looking for…
You will need to:
- Mechanical and Mathematical aptitude.
- Mustbe able to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Strong workethicand willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability tolift upto 50 lbs. 
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Prior experience in a mechanical-based setting
- Experience with sanding and masking
- 1+ years of experience painting aviation or auto components
