Summary:Â
This role uses analytical equipment and computerized systems to evaluate, and ensure the quality of incoming material. Responsibilities include conducting quality checks, and engaging in trouble-shooting and basic equipment maintenance throughout the inspection process.Â
Responsibilities:
- Check product and production process for desired quality to specifications
- Monitor data from measuring devices
- Ensure quality standards are followed
- Work with teams and individuals to safety standards are being adhered
- Assemble and disassemble equipment
- Create work orders or instructions as needed
- Engage in troubleshooting and report issues if not resolved
- Identify defects during sales analysis
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work areaÂ
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experienceÂ
Experience:
- 1 to 3+ years of related experienceÂ
- Manufacturing or Quality experience required

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours:
- Safety glasses
- Steel-toed shoes
- Cryogenic Gloves
- Nitrile Gloves
- Respirator (Clean Shaven)
- Lab CoatÂ
- Dry Room Suit
- Face shieldÂ
- Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours up to 7 days a week:
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Stoop, twist, bend
- Reach overhead
- Sit and/or stand
