Position Summary:
The Production Planner I supports production planning and outsourced production activities by accurately processing purchasing, production, and cost data. This position manages data related to tolling, rework, and claim costs; supports month-end closing activities; and works cross-functionally to analyze cost variances and maintain data accuracy. The role also coordinates with external vendors to support production schedules, resolve closing issues, reconcile claims, and follow up on root causes.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with outsourced packers to support production plans and achievement of production goals.
- Collect purchasing data related to Pack and LINK activities from outsourced packers and enter and validate information in applicable systems, including ERP and Singlex, to support monthly closing.
- Process journal entries accurately, identify and prevent missed purchases, and complete accounting-related activities in accordance with established cut-off standards.
- Classify and process production-related external costs, including tolling fees, rework costs, and claim expenses, in applicable systems.
- Support cost attribution based on root cause analysis and allocation by item or process.
- Review cost accuracy by comparing Pack and LINK delivery quantities against contracted unit prices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze, reconcile, and adjust cost variances when discrepancies are identified.
- Coordinate month-end closing schedules with subcontractors and proactively address omissions, data errors, or other closing issues.
- Identify root causes of claims and support post-issue reconciliation and resolution in collaboration with vendors.
- Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs and improve production processes and product quality.
- Provide scheduling and administrative support to Production leadership.

- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or a related environment.
- Basic understanding of production planning, inventory, purchasing, or manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the battery, automotive, Energy Storage System (ESS), or high-volume manufacturing industry.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, SingleX, SAP, or similar manufacturing/business systems.
- Experience supporting month-end closing, purchasing reconciliation, cost tracking, or production cost analysis.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, or outsourced manufacturing partners.
- Familiarity with production schedules, material flow, inventory, and manufacturing KPIs.
- Fluency in Korean is preferred.Â

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Primarily works in an office environment with regular interaction with manufacturing, warehouse, and material storage areas.
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, with periodic standing and walking throughout the facility.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering designated manufacturing or warehouse areas.
- May require occasional interaction with suppliers, vendors, or other company locations.
- May require occasional domestic travel to support supplier or business activities.
- May require work outside normal business hours as needed to support production schedules, supplier issues, global teams, or business needs.
