Machinist - Entry Level

An entry level machinist at Koops creates precision mechanical components used in custom automation equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and likes solving a new challenge with every project.

What You'll Do

• Machine mechanical components for custom automation equipment
• Set up and operate CNC equipped Bridgeport Mlls
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Utilize a variety of precision measuring tools
• Apply mechanical aptitude and creativity to machine setups
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and solve problems
• Work collaboratively to meet project timelines and quality standards

Qualifications

• Exposure and knowledge of machining equipment 
• Mechanical Aptitude 
• Experience using tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude
