About the Role:
Cinch Mechanical LLC is looking for a motivated and hardworking Plumber Helper to join our growing team in Joppa, MD! This is a fantastic opportunity to get your hands dirty, learn the trade, and build a rewarding career in the plumbing industry alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Transport, load, and unload tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
- Prepare work areas by digging trenches, cutting openings, and clearing debris
- Support pipe fitting, soldering, and plumbing fixture installation tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to local plumbing codes and regulations
- Communicate effectively with lead plumbers and crew members to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
- Prior experience in plumbing, construction, or a related trade is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn plumbing techniques, tools, and industry best practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and ability to report to job sites in and around Joppa, MD
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dependable attendance record
- Basic hand and power tool knowledge preferred
- Valid driver's license is a plus
