Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:00pm, Friday 6:00am-noon
Location: Beddy’s offices; 5491 Hammerfest Dr. #210 South Jordan, UT 84009
Pay: $17.00 per hour

DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods from receiving to shipping. This role is integral to ensuring customer satisfaction by processing orders efficiently and accurately, while also supporting a safe and organized warehouse environment. This role requires unloading floor-stacked, full-size shipping containers and palletizing the contents.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will have a primary area of responsibility and will also receive training to assist in all areas of the warehouse. Flexibility and willingness to be cross-trained and utilized in various parts of the warehouse as needed are essential.
General Duties:
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner.
- Continually enhance product knowledge and stay updated on new products.
- Collaborate with team members and leads to ensure efficient operations.
Receiving and put-away:
- Unload incoming shipments from suppliers or other sources.
- Verify and inspect the contents to ensure accuracy.
- Store received items in the appropriate locations.
- Ensure that items are stored in an organized manner and are easily accessible.
Replenishment:
- Restock items as needed.
- Ensure a smooth flow of goods to the picking area.
- Collaborate with leads to address any discrepancies.
Order Picking:
- Use handheld devices to pick and confirm picked quantities.
- Ensure timely completion of picked orders to meet shipping schedules.
Packing:
- Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transportation.
- Use handheld devices to confirm shipped quantities
- Generate and affix shipping labels.
- Load packages onto a semi-trailer.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attendance and punctuality record.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse systems.
