Position Overview:


We are looking for the next leader of our Human Resources department. As the maker of life saving Body Armor for our nation's First Responders and Military, we know the backbone of our company is our manufacturing department. Our ideal candidate is an experienced HR manager who can help us create a strong company culture and bring together our office and warehousing staff. We expect and require excellent communication skills, both written and in person, and we want someone who is confident, competent, and not afraid to grow with us. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee ongoing HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Support employee relations including conflict resolution, investigations, and documentation.
• Administer company benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with applicable laws.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Manage timekeeping systems and collaborate with payroll processing.
• Assist with training coordination and compliance-based learning initiatives.
• Monitor adherence to company policies and HR procedures.
• Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, recognition, and events.
• Participate in audits and workplace safety efforts in partnership with leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing or warehouse experience required.)
• Solid working knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and HRIS systems (BambooHR) and the ability to implement new systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Ability to maintain structure and consistency while adapting to a growing company.
• Bilingual is a plus.
