The Rehab Support Staff Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of rehabilitation support staff across multiple locations. Working closely with rehabilitation leadership, clinical teams, patients, and physician offices, this role ensures efficient workflows, timely access to care, exceptional customer service, and high-quality patient experiences. Responsibilities include staff supervision, scheduling, registration, training, performance management, and process improvement. This is a dual-role position, with approximately 50% of time dedicated to supervisory and administrative duties and 50% supporting frontline patient access and rehabilitation operations.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:  Demonstrated expert-level competency in rehabilitation scheduling, registration, insurance authorization, and patient access functions. Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff development, coaching, training, and performance management. Strong understanding of healthcare operations, workflow optimization, and customer service principles. Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement sustainable solutions. Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills. Experience leading change initiatives and supporting departmental growth. Epic Certified Trainer designation for applicable workflows preferred, or equivalent advanced Epic experience and training.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare patient registration, scheduling, technician role, and/or insurance prior authorization.   Some college or Associates degree is preferred.
