What You'll Do
As the Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide nursing services and care coordination for clients receiving outpatient behavioral health services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting nursing assessments, health screenings, and obtaining vital signs
- Monitoring client health status and identifying medical concerns requiring follow-up
- Performing medication reconciliation, monitoring, and client education
- Reviewing laboratory results and coordinating appropriate follow-up care
- Collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary treatment teams to support client treatment goals
- Educating clients and families regarding medications, health conditions, and wellness strategies
- Supporting crisis response and clinical triage efforts as needed
- Completing timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record
- Conducting visits to residential settings and other program locations as needed
- Promoting a safe, welcoming, and recovery-oriented environment for clients and families
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Valid Montana driver's license, personal vehicle, and current insurance coverage
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
- CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, community health, or outpatient healthcare settings
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and behavioral health conditions
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHR/EMR)
- Experience providing patient education and care coordination services
