Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Hebron - HEBRON, KY 41048Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $18.15 - $19.74 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: 3rd ShiftJob Category: ManufacturingSUMMARY:       The associate is expected to obtain the knowledge and demonstrate the ability to safely operate equipment and perform basic setup of machines to ensure the manufacturing of quality automotive suspension components.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following.  Other duties may be assigned.   Operation of multiple pieces of manufacturing/finishing equipment. Perform and document visual and mechanical inspections to assure products conform to customer specifications. Routinely perform machine maintenance and inspection procedures. Diagnose production problems and make proper adjustments. Continually work towards optimum cycle while maintaining a quality part. Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing productivity and process improvements on current production. Supports day to day production requirements.  Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure cleanliness of environment. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Prepare basic paperwork requirements i.e.: daily process sheet, heat sheet, PAR’s, etc. Must be flexible to work all shifts and overtime and weekends as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A QualificationsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma and/or equivalent. 1-2 yrs  prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in Injection Molding.  LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to write clear and concise reports and general business correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions from groups of management, associates, customers, suppliers, and public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; move around the plant; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.  The associate is occasionally required to walk, climb, balance, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job in the production area, the associate occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.  The noise level in the production area is usually loud. Temperatures vary between room temperature and 120° in the production area.
