POSITION TITLE: Marketing Coordinator

Scope of Responsibility: This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing marketing initiatives aligned with the Bank’s strategic objectives. The Marketing Coordinator supports brand consistency across all channels, enhances the Bank’s digital presence, assists with marketing campaigns, and tracks performance metrics to support data-driven marketing decisions.
The Marketing Coordinator supports and executes the Bank’s marketing strategy to drive business growth, customer engagement, brand awareness, and community presence. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day marketing initiatives including social media management, website content updates, search engine optimization (SEO), digital reputation management, and branch marketing support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing and Online Presence
- Plan, develop, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, and Instagram.
- Monitor engagement and respond appropriately to messages, comments, and reviews in accordance with Bank policies.
- Manage and maintain the Bank’s online presence on review and comparison sites (e.g., Bankrate.com, DepositAccounts.com, Google Reviews).
- Maintain and update the Bank’s website and digital banking marketing platform to ensure accuracy, relevance, and regulatory compliance.
- Support search engine optimization (SEO) efforts to improve website visibility and traffic.
- Maintain and update Google Business profiles and other online listings to ensure accurate business information across platforms.
- Track and analyze digital performance metrics including website traffic, social engagement, SEO performance, and online reputation indicators.
Campaign Management
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns that support product promotions, customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.
- Develop marketing materials including digital content, signage, branch collateral, promotional materials, email campaigns, and advertisements while maintaining brand consistency and regulatory compliance.
- Support internal branding initiatives to ensure consistent messaging across all Bank locations and channels.
- Assist in implementing marketing strategies designed to support business growth and community engagement.
Community Engagement
- Support Community Action Teams in coordinating sponsorships, donations, community events, and financial literacy initiatives.
- Assist in promoting community involvement through social media, website updates, press outreach, and other marketing channels.
- Coordinate promotional merchandise and branded materials for community and branch events.
- Process and track community sponsorship and donation invoices as appropriate.
Branch and Marketing Support
- Partner with branch leadership and Business Development teams to support local marketing initiatives.
- Ensure branches maintain current marketing collateral and signage.
- Assist with promoting banking products and services throughout the branch network.
Reporting and Compliance
- Track marketing initiatives and prepare regular reports measuring campaign performance, digital engagement, community impact, and return on investment (ROI).
- Monitor marketing-related expenses and process invoices in accordance with Bank procedures.
- Assist with marketing budget tracking as directed.
- Support special marketing projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
- Ensure marketing activities comply with Bank policies and applicable regulatory requirements related to advertising, consumer protection, and fair lending.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in all marketing communications and materials.
Contacts: The individual in this position will work in conjunction with the Retail Banking and Delivery Officer, branch leadership, Business Development Teams, community partners, and third-party vendors to ensure cohesive marketing execution and consistent brand representation.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- One to three years of experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or branding preferred.
- Experience with social media management, content creation, and website updates strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO principles, digital analytics tools, and marketing platforms is a plus.
