As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a high-performing maintenance team focused on keeping all equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently. In this role, you’ll oversee daily maintenance activities, assign and prioritize work, support technicians as they troubleshoot issues, and coordinate both planned and reactive repairs to reduce downtime. What You’ll Do Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing maintenance team through structured coaching, performance feedback, and individualized development plans that strengthen capability and drive results. Coach team members to deliver constructive feedback aligned with organizational goals and maintenance schedules. Foster a positive and accountable culture that promotes engagement, ownership, and consistently high performance. Ensure safety, quality, and equipment reliability goals are met or exceeded through disciplined daily execution and proactive oversight. Champion a zero‑incident safety culture by conducting structured daily safety audits, 5S inspections, and near‑miss investigations, ensuring corrective actions are documented and closed promptly. Oversee and schedule preventive maintenance (PM) of machinery and equipment to prevent unscheduled downtime and extend asset lifespan. Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, ensuring swift repairs that minimize production interruptions. Oversee equipment installations and upgrades and calibration efforts to ensure all machinery operates within optimal specifications. Plan labor, materials, equipment, and training needs to support efficient daily maintenance operations. Work cross‑functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams to understand equipment performance needs and minimize operational disruptions. Communicate maintenance status, risks, and priorities clearly during daily stand‑ups and leadership meetings. Track, analyze, and resolve maintenance issues using data‑driven insights to support continuous improvement. Champion LEAN manufacturing principles to streamline maintenance processes and improve cost efficiency. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and documentation for audits and future reference. Perform other duties as assigned in support of department and organizational objectives. QualificationsWhat You Bring Experience That Drives Success 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or technical certification in a relevant field (mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance) (preferred). Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving focus and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software‑related issues. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is essential for effective troubleshooting and repair. Familiarity with automation and PLC troubleshooting (preferred). Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles and a continuous improvement philosophy. Hands‑on, collaborative leadership style that supports team engagement and operational success. Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other maintenance software (preferred).
