Sonic Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.
Candidates should have formal training from an approved ARRT school of radiologic technology and be registered with ARRT.
A current Mississippi State license and certification from the American Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) are required.
The position prefers one to two years of on-the-job experience as an ultrasound technologist.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, PRN, with a salary that may vary based on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Ultrasound Technologist, under the direction of the Radiologist, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal training which will probably be indicated by graduation from an approved ARRT school of radiologic technology, registration with ARRT, current Mississippi State license, American Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and one to two years on the job experience as a ultrasound technologist is preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, PRN
