This role is critical in managing insurance-related tasks, ensuring that our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance plans. You will be an integral part of our team, responsible for a wide range of insurance-related duties and contributing to the overall efficiency of our practice.     PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits for treatments and procedures. Claim Submission: Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner. Payment Posting: Post insurance payments to patient accounts and ensure accurate financial records. Follow-Up: Follow up on outstanding claims, resolving any issues or discrepancies with insurance companies. Patient Communication: Communicate with patients regarding their insurance benefits, coverage details, and any necessary documentation. Account Management: Manage patient accounts, ensuring all insurance-related information is up-to-date and accurate. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals to form a highly effective team, attending to the administrative tasks of the office.     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Patient-Centric Attitude: Genuinely serve our patients at every level, enhancing patient satisfaction and increasing office efficiency. Positive Impact: Positively influence patients, coworkers, referring offices, and the practice as a whole. Educational Background: Completion of high school or equivalent is required. Experience Required: Previous experience in dental or medical insurance coordination is required. Billing Knowledge: Familiarity with dental/medical billing and coding practices. System Knowledge: Proficiency with dental/medical practice management systems. Multitasking Ability: Demonstrated ability to multitask and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment. Customer Service Expertise: Experienced with customer service techniques, ensuring a superior patient experience. Communication Skills: Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members.
