Senior Accountant

Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fully onsite environment. This role will focus primarily on general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The position will also assist with payroll processing approximately two days per week. Payroll experience is preferred but can be trained for a strong accounting professional.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries.

Perform bank, balance sheet, and credit card reconciliations.

Support month-end close activities and financial reporting deadlines.

Analyze and research account variances.

Maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.

Assist with payroll processing and related support activities approximately two days per week.

Work independently in a fast-paced accounting environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Harrisburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Harrisburg,PA.
