T.A. Woods is looking for a skilled and reliable Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, fabricating, and maintaining sheet metal products such as ducts for HVAC systems.

Pay

· $31–$33 per hour, based on experience

What You’ll Do

· Fabricating, and maintaining sheet metal products for HVAC systems

· Fasten seams or joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, or bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.

· Install ductwork, hanger systems, VAVs, dampers, access doors, smoke detectors, diffusers, grills, and equipment

· Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, or drills.

· Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all company and jobsite safety procedures are followed

What You’ll Bring

· Minimum of 3 years commercial installation experience

· Familiar with codes, specs, prints, and diagrams

· Experienced in vertical, renovation, and upfit construction

· Experienced with installation of ductwork, hanger systems, VAVs, dampers, access doors, smoke detectors, diffusers, grills, and equipment

· Work with safe production in mind

· Work independently and as a participating team member
