Groundskeeper - Engineering - Days - FT

Landscapes and maintains the grounds of the hospital campus.

Responsibilities

• Creates. cultivates, and maintains lawns, shrubs, and flower beds.
  • Grounds are maintained in such a fashion that they are aesthetically pleasing.
  • Trees are pruned and shrubs trimmed to promote their health.
  • Gardens and flower beds are cultivated, planted, and weeded.
  • Lawns are mowed on a routine basis to maintain a good appearance.
  • Work performed is documented.
  • Grounds are landscaped to be aesthetically pleasing and easy to maintain.
  • Grounds are maintained in a safe and clean condition.
  • Reduces costs through effective use of tools, parts, information, and skills.
• Maintains hand and power tools used in gardening.
  • Hand tools and power tools are maintained in good working order.
• Maintains all exterior paved areas.
  • Concrete and asphalt surfaces are maintained.
  • Paved areas are clean and free of trash.

Education:

• None

Experience:

• 1 year of basic yard and grounds maintenance

Licensure:

• Valid drivers license and the ability to be covered by hospitals automobile insurance
