Description:

Position Summary:
 

PRN CT technologist to cover for staff PAL, holidays and on-call.  Must have experience in hospital setting, be able to perform routine CT scans, x-ray exams, fluoroscopy and OR.

What you will do:

  • Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
  •  Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
  • Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
  • Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
  • Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats

What you will need:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:  registered or registry eligible with ARRT
  •  Education:  Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
  •  Experience: One year experience in hospital environment preferred and to demonstrate Radiological technology competence
