Job Summary
Serve counter customers through identification, fabrication, and certification of hydraulic hose assemblies, fittings, and associated equipment and facilitate the retail transaction of those products.Â

Essential Functions
Customer Service:Â Provide exemplary customer service and sales to counter customers by prompt, knowledgeable, accurate and courteous responses to customer requests, and provide support to phone customers when needed.
Hose Assembly:Â Fabricate hose assemblies to customer specifications while meeting Parker and Cross Company standards.
Safety & Quality:Â Maintain a safe, clean, and organized showroom, desk, and assembly area.Â
Learn:Â Continuously improve and apply product knowledge to become technically proficient.
Additional Responsibilities
Use established processes to identify, diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Address inquiries regarding technical services and product training.Provide information on product availability, pricing, credit, and FOB terms.
Assist with delivery details, product selection, and related inquiries.
Process counter customer orders using corporate ERP system.Â
Daily use of digital collaboration platforms, (G-Suite, Zoom) and phone systems.
Establish value by communicating product advantages early in the sales process.
Pass NAHAD Hose Safety Institute requirements and earn Parker PTC certifications.
Complete all assigned individual performance and development goals.
Perform various, miscellaneous tasks and projects as directed.
Communicate all significant customer and supplier issues to the Retail Sales Manager.

Education & Experience
One year experience with basic warehouse equipment and procedures preferred
High School diploma or GED required
