What You'll Do

  • Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and identify potential changes or abnormalities.

  • Promptly communicate significant findings to nursing staff for further assessment.

  • Maintain close attention to patient monitoring needs and follow established ICU procedures.

  • Apply age-appropriate knowledge of growth and development when appropriate to patient monitoring.

  • Support the ICU team through accurate, attentive, and dependable telemetry monitoring.

  • Maintain a calm, focused approach in a fast-paced clinical environment.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • CNA certification preferred, but not required.

  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

  • Willingness to complete Gateway Regional Medical Center's basic dysrhythmia training - training is provided.

  • Previous telemetry or healthcare experience is preferred.

  • New graduates and candidates entering healthcare are welcome and encouraged to apply!

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety.
