ROLE SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Tech reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for assisting with daily warehouse operations while ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products. This position serves support to warehouse operations while helping maintain productivity, inventory accuracy, and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assembling orders using picking technology.
  • Move packaged products by hand from racks, shelves, bins, or floor onto pick pallet.
  • Sort and place the packaged product on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code.
  • Operate shrink wrap machine to secure order and prevent it from falling in transit.
  • Mark orders with identifying information using “born on date” identification tags.
  • Rotate stock, consolidate pallets, and warehouse inventory.
  • Assist in counting physical inventory.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including powered hand trucks, sit down fork trucks, and pallet riders.
  • Responsible for loading and unloading side and end-load trailers with palletized freight operating a sit-down fork truck.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, sanitation, and other duties as assigned.
  • Facilities maintenance as assigned.
  • Follow all safety policies, including keeping the warehouse picked up and accessible for all coworkers and customers.
  • Receive inbound freight into inventory using scanner and software.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies and product damage issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reports.
  • Support warehouse coverage by performing all warehouse functions as needed.
  • All other additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to perform lifting, loading, and pushing/pulling a significantly high volume of cases per day ranging from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly during work hours (8-10)
