Full-time permanent position eligible for $2000 Sign-on + $350/mo housing stipend
Reports to: Sr. Director of Strategic Operations
Description:  The Patient Registration Specialist will  perform and master various work assignments to accomplish the team’s goal of being the Premier Patient Access that other competitors strive to exemplify. Full-time positions available in Granby CO, Kremmling, CO or Fraser, CO (Please see below)
Essential Job Duties:
- Manage phone lines, practice superior customer service in a teamwork environment, and communicate professionally with other medical facilities, departments, vendors, insurance carriers and patients.
- Obtain and confirm accurate demographic and referral and financial information from patients, family members and/or patient’s legal representative.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits; explain financial requirements to the patient or patient representative.
- Maintains confidentiality of all MPH and patient information as mandated by HIPPA.
- Other duties as necessary
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- Working knowledge of insurance processing, CPT, ICD-10, co-pay and coverage verification processes preferred.
- Solid computer skills.
- Strong verbal/written skills to communicate information clearly with patient, family member, and insurance companies.
Status: Â Full-Time:
- Fraser ED Day - alternating Thurs-Sun and Fri - Sun with the current Fraser ED PRS
Float (Granby) - WP on Monday & Tue. Fraser Therapy on Friday and Granby on Saturday for the Walk-In Clinic
Float (Kremmling) - This position will assist with all call outs in Kremmling from the ED and Outpatient Clinic to the Wellness Center
Location: Granby CO, Kremmling, CO Â or Fraser CO
Compensation: $21.00 – $31.71 per hour (+$2.00/hr for Float positions)
FT perm positions receive $2,000 Sign-on Bonus + Eligibility for $350/mo Housing Stipend for residents of Grand, Jackson or Summit county.
