Microwave Techniques is seeking a Utility Metal Finisher to join our team here in Gorham. This position works with a variety of tools and techniques to play a critical role in the machining and manufacture of precision high-end products.

- RF and microwave circulators, isolators, and ferrite components
- Waveguide and coaxial passive components

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deburring, sanding, and blending - polishing parts using hand tools, air and power tools.
- Lapping flange faces flat
- Tumble parts
- Sandblasting using a cabinet sandblaster
- Use tank farm in cleaning parts for secondary operation and prior to assembly and paint
- Apply surface finishes to aluminum, brass, copper and stainless steel
- Clean and wash parts
- Some light assembly
- Maintain tools used and work area is in a clean and orderly condition.
- Able to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently to achieve desired outcomes.
- Has high attention to detail

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Performs activities requiring sustained concentration, and visual acuity.
The shift in Gorham, Maine is Monday through Friday 6am – 2:30pm.
